- There is an Algebra 1 refresher course for students who would like to be better prepared for the Algebra 1 EOC. Students will need to be assigned the VT EOC course by a teacher. They are no longer available for students to self-enroll. Please have your student check with their current Math teacher to get signed up for the class.
- If you are interested in taking the ACT NCR on March 2-4, 2021, please have your student contact Mrs. Croak, the testing coordinator in room 1-119. This is the actual ACT, but students receive triple time so scores are not reported to colleges. This test is free for any senior who still needs to meet their Math and ELA graduation requirement or any junior who would like to pay the $35 fee. Seniors will automatically be signed up to take, but I need to know what juniors would like to take by January 15, 2021. Recent FSA ELA test scores won't be back until mid-February, but if your student does not traditionally score well on the FSA ELA or Alg 1 EOC, you may want to consider signing your student up for the test. The $35 fee for the test is not refundable in the event your student passes the FSA ELA. But it's still good practice for your student to have. Juniors must bring the signed form, along with payment, to Ms. Ursini in the Counseling office by January 15th. You may also pay on-line, but be sure and attach a screen shot of the payment to the form. Again, ALL juniors must return the signed for and payment to Ms. Ursini in the counseling office by January 15, 2021.
- There will be another chance for seniors to take the SAT on April 13th, if they missed due to being quarantined or were caught in the transition from Volusia Virtual or Volusia Live back to brick and mortar. Seniors who took the SAT 10/27 MAY NOT test again. Affected seniors will be contacted prior to the administration of the test.
- The in-school SAT will be administered to all Juniors on April 13. This test is free of charge. Students who attend Volusia Live or in-person do not need to sign up. You will automatically be rostered to test. All Volusia Virtual and Florida Virtual students must contact their testing coordinators regarding the test.
- Volusia Live students will be automatically rostered to any test they might be eligible for. They will no longer be asked to confirm testing. Emails and school messages (via phone) will be sent to notify you of testing. Please check the testing schedule below so you are aware of testing dates.
- Volusia Virtual students may also attend testing on campus. Please contact Volusia Virtual for details. (Ms. Kristina Wiseman) All CDC guidelines will be followed, including distancing and wearing masks. Please arrive for any testing administration early as you will be asked to check in and complete a temperature check.
