(Volusia County Schools is offering a unique opportunity for high school SENIORS who have yet to earn a passing score on the FSA ELA or Algebra 1 EOC to obtain a concordant score using the Non-College Reporting ACT
Test Dates:
October 18, 19 and 20, 2022 (For seniors only - no fee) March 7, 8 and 9, 2023 (Seniors - no fee, Juniors must pay)
* Letters distributed through Reading class (or the first period your student has for the day) * Letters for Juniors distributed through first period teacher (or first teacher students has for the day)
Students who choose to use this In-School ACT test option will ONLY be permitted to use these scores as a concordant score for graduation purposes.
The In-School ACT test administration CANNOTbe used for: - Bright Futures - College Admissions - Scholarship Opportunities
Students will be notified if they are eligible to take the test. A signed permission slip from parent is required. Payments for juniors, who are eligible to take this test in March, can be made by cash or check. Credit cards can also be used. Visit the NSBHS website and go to student payments.
Traditionally, our seniors have been very successful with this test, particularly with the English and Reading. Students MUST take both the English and Reading tests to receive a score.
