These (non-school day) tests are administered by College Board. Student is required to establish an on-line account to sign up and pay for testing opportunities. This is not administered through NSBHS, although NSBHS could serve as a testing site. Please contact your student's guidance counselor for additional information.
Additional ACT and SAT resource
A School Day SAT will now be administered twice a year. This test is given during the school day and is free of charge. The test is administered to seniors in the fall and juniors in the spring. The test is not open to any other grade levels. They are grade (cohort specific), which means juniors will not be able to participate in the Fall administration and seniors can't take it again in the Spring.
ACT NCR - Non-College Reportable
An In-School ACT NCR is offered twice each year. Scores are NOT reported to colleges. The test is used to assist students who need an FSA ELA or Algebra 1 passing score for graduation purposes. Seniors will take in the fall and the spring for no charge. Juniors may only take the test in March, and must pay a $35 fee to take. Otherwise, they are eligible to take it at no cost as a senior.
